The Fly Racing Formula CC Glide Helmet offers advanced protection and comfort for motocross riders, featuring a tri-weave composite shell made of carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar®, and fiberglass, which provides a lightweight yet durable barrier against impacts. This helmet is designed with impact energy-absorbing cells made of RHEON material, enhancing low-speed linear and rotational impact mitigation to reduce forces transmitted to the rider's brain. The conehead® dual-density EPS technology ensures a softer liner that manages impact forces more efficiently, while six strategically fine-tuned zones deliver a progressive response across various impact scenarios.
The helmet's expanded volume EPS areas add extra impact absorption, creating more suspension between your head and the ground. Its EPP chin bar offers additional energy absorption and superior damage resistance, while the clavicle shell relief zone helps reduce clavicle injuries by providing a soft zone filled with EPS and EPP. The custom molded rubber trim includes an integrated nose guard for added facial protection.
Designed for comfort and ventilation, the Formula CC Glide features a moisture-wicking, antimicrobial liner and quick-release cheek pads that are easy to remove and wash. True Functional Ventilation (TFV) ensures continuous airflow during motion, with multiple intake and exhaust vents passing air through aligned channels in the EPS for maximum cooling. The helmet weighs approximately 2.9 pounds and includes a soft fleece helmet bag for storage. An optional cold weather breath guard is available for additional protection in colder conditions.
This helmet is suitable for use on various motocross and off-road vehicles, including dirt bikes, ATVs, and UTVs, fitting riders with head sizes corresponding to medium and large.
