The Fly Racing Formula CC Glide Helmet is designed for motorcycle riders seeking optimal safety and comfort. This helmet features a tri-weave composite shell constructed from carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar®, and fiberglass, providing a lightweight yet highly resistant barrier against penetration and impacts. Its impact energy cells made of RHEON absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts efficiently, reducing forces transmitted to the rider's brain. The conehead® dual-density EPS technology enhances impact management by offering a softer liner that absorbs force more effectively. Throughout the helmet, six critical zones are fine-tuned for progressive response to both low-speed and high-speed impacts, offering comprehensive protection. Impact-absorbing materials, such as expanded volume EPS and expanded polypropylene (EPP) in the chin bar, increase safety by providing additional energy mitigation and damage resistance. The clavicle shell relief zone with EPS and EPP further reduces the risk of clavicle injuries during impacts. This helmet includes a custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard for added protection. Weighing approximately 2.9 pounds (size MD/LG), the helmet offers a comfortable fit with a washable, moisture-wicking, anti-microbial liner and quick-release cheek pads. The true functional ventilation system ensures constant airflow during motion, channeling air through multiple intake vents, EPS-aligned channels, and exit vents to keep riders cool. The package includes a soft fleece helmet bag for storage and protection. Optional cold weather breath guard is available for added comfort in colder conditions.
