Its tri-weave composite shell combines carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar®, and fiberglass, resulting in a lightweight yet highly impact-resistant outer shell that provides superior penetration resistance. The helmet features Impact Energy Cells made of RHEON which maximize absorption of low speed linear and rotational impacts, effectively minimizing forces transmitted to the rider's brain.
The Conehead® dual-density EPS technology enhances impact management by providing a softer liner that absorbs impact forces more efficiently. Six critical zones are fine-tuned for a progressive response to both low and high-speed impacts, offering comprehensive protection. The expanded volume EPS design strategically places more impact-absorbing material in key areas, increasing suspension between the rider’s head and any external force. An EPP chin bar adds an additional layer of impact mitigation, offering superior damage resistance and energy absorption. The clavicle shell relief zone is designed with EPS and EPP to reduce clavicle injuries during impacts.
Comfort is a priority with a moisture-wicking, antimicrobial liner and quick-release cheek pads that facilitate easy removal and cleaning. The helmet’s True Functional Ventilation (TFV) system forces air through multiple intake vents during motion, passing through vent channels within the EPS and exiting through multiple rear exhaust vents, ensuring optimal airflow and cooling. The included soft fleece helmet bag makes transportation convenient, and an optional cold weather breath guard is available for added protection in colder conditions.
