This tank holds 40% more oil than our standard YXZ tank. It bolts in stock location. With this tank, you will no longer be able to retain the stock plastic guard below the tank as it's 4" longer and will have to trim the stock steel suction line back just above the support clamp.
HD oil tanks are built from .120 thick aluminum, internally baffled like a stock tank, CNC fittings, fully tig welded, and pressure tested. This tank comes standard with 12mm drain plugs that accept a quick drain. A 12 mm drain plug, seal washer, 1' hot oil hose, and 2 clamps are included.
NOTES:
- It does not work with an OEM oil tank plastic cover. This oil tank is approximately 4 inches longer than the OEM oil tank.
- Use the OEM dipstick.
- Fill with five quarts of oil. Run the car for proximity 10 seconds, then top off.
